Windshields for Victory Vision

Windshields are used to protect the driver and passengers from the air, bugs, items, and dust flying by during a fast ride. Attachable windshields are available for Victory Vision motorcycles to stop the airflow towards the passengers.

There are two different materials used for Victory Vision motorcycle windshields. They are acrylic and polycarbonate. Both are similar to plastic but have notable differences. Polycarbonate is more resistant to scratches and abrasion while acrylic blocks UV light better.

There are many options for choosing a style and color. The height, width, tint, and color vary for all different windshields. The only requirement is picking a windshield that can be attached to your bike. Bigger windshields may be purchased if you want to have a greater coverage, and a dark tinted windshield may be used if you travel or live in sunny places. Different colors available are translucent, bronze, and grey that comes in different shades and hues.

There are windshields that are universal, and there are fitted models. Fitted models are made specifically for a certain model while universal models are made to fit many types of motorcycles. You can choose between a permanent or a quick detach mount. Quick detach mounts will allow you to remove it whenever you want while a permanent mount is for people who need their windshield at all times.

Make sure you choose a product that is appropriate for your vehicle. Have another person hold it in the place where it is to be mounted, so you can sit on your bike and see if you can look over it.

Windshields tend to become dirty with time because of the dust, bugs, trash, and dirt that gets trapped on its surface. Cleaning your product will take care of all that. When cleaning the surface, do not use an abrasive product or too much force when trying to clean something that is stuck to it. Use moisture instead to loosen up anything that is stuck and then gently wipe it off. Warm water and soap will be sufficient. Use a soaked towel to apply moisture to the surface by keeping the towel on the surface. Use soap and water to wash off the debris and only a microfiber cloth or a cotton towel to wipe and dry it off.
