Rolex GMT-Master II 16710

This Rolex stainless-steel watch is available in a few different colors. However, each one contains the same dial. The Ref 16710 has a black background with the signature hour-marker shapes. Depending on the year of production, the lumes can be Tritium, Luminova, or Superluminova. You'll also find Rolex's Mercedes-style hour hand, a dedicated GMT hand in red, and a date window at the 3:00 position.

Covering the face is sapphire crystal glass. Rolex also uses the magnifying Cyclops lens over the date window.

Where the Ref 16710 gets its distinct style is on the bezels. This timepiece uses an aluminum bidirectional bezel with a 24-hour scale. Moving the bezel lets you use the independent GMT hand to see the third time zone display.

The bezels on the Rolex GMT-Master II watches are available with a two-tone colorway to reference day and night hours. You can get the Ref 16710 in three styles:

• Black and red "Coke" bezel
• Blue and red "Pepsi" bezel
• All-black bezel

These colors typically came with the standard three-link Oyster bracelet. However, some models also had the Oyster bracelet with the Oysterlock or the Rolex stainless-steel Jubilee bracelet.
