A new predominately black design appeared on the Air Jordan Trainer 2 Flyknit silhouette on October 1, 2017. This particular Black Metallic Gold colorway features a mostly black design on its upper. A woven Flyknit construction covers the toe, tongue, side panels, ankle, and heel in black. Black then continues on the heel tab, tongue tab, and laces. Its tongue strap features a black base with a white and black cement pattern over the top. A Metallic Gold Jordan Jumpman logo is stamped on the lateral side of this tongue strap, while a white phylon midsole sits directly below the upper. This design is completed with an outer sole that adorns the bottom tread in black.
