The Midnight Navy colorway appeared on the Air Jordan Fly 89 silhouette with a dark blue color scheme. The signature color coats the laces, eyelets, and lateral wing of this slip-on shoe. It then continues on the ankle stitching, the inner sock liner, heel tab, heel, and midsole. Two arch-like overlays make their way to the side panels, coating the footwear one final time in Midnight Blue. Instead of the Jordan Brand's traditional white outer sole, this design incorporates a Pure Platinum outer sole color instead. A performance Lunarlon construction in the midsole provides for added cushion and support for the feet. Infrared 23 colors appear on the bottom tread as accents, and its tongue and toe are coated in a dark gray synthetic look.
