Nike's Jordan 1 Flight 3 design, which emerged in October 2016, combines elements of both the original Air Jordan 1 and the Air Jordan 3. The general shape of the silhouette of the Jordan 1 Flight 3 resembles that of the original Jordan 1, but, where materials are concerned, the Flight 3 takes its cues from the Air Jordan 3, using lightweight mesh and cloth as well as leather. This Jordan 1 Flight 3 is almost entirely black, with bits of red coloring the shoelace eyelets, the Jumpman logo on the tongue, and the rim of the collar. The interior of the shoe is also entirely red. Sturdy but elegant black leather wraps the back of the heel and features another Jumpman logo. Both the midsole and the outsole are made of white rubber.
