You have several options to choose from when finding All-In-One computers from Apple. One choice to find is an iMac with a 1 TB hard drive. This drive provides you with an extended amount of space for storing multiple files, but you must look at a few points for finding such a computer that has this hard drive. Apple has a variety of desktop models in the iMac line that can support 1 TB drives built into their bodies.

Is It a Fusion Drive?

Your 1 TB HD on a new iMac may be a Fusion drive depending on the Apple iMac you order. The Fusion hard drive is a combination of a traditional 1 TB HDD and a flash storage unit. Flash storage is non-volatile and operates faster than what a basic HDD uses. The most frequently-used programs on your computer will be secured into the flash sections of the drive. This allows the data to become easier to load up.

You might find a 1 TB Fusion drive on a 21.5-inch iMac, but you are more likely to find one on a 27-inch model.

How Big Is the Screen?
