How do Ford sway bars work?

Sway bars are a component of the suspension system. They are essentially torsion springs. Body roll is what happens when the force generated by turning shifts the weight of the RV to the side opposite of the turn. This leads to the feeling that the RV is about to roll over, hence the name.

Sway bars counteract body roll by shifting the turning force from one side of the suspension to the other. They connect the right and left parts of the suspension, which compresses the springs of the suspension system during turns and distributes the force evenly. This keeps all four tires of the RV on the ground.

Where is the Ford F53 sway bar located?
